THE STUDIO & FACILITIES
Situated just off the town centre in Scarborough, on the North Yorkshire Coast. The studio has been completely restored with product photography in mind. It's an inviting space of around 6 x 5m suitable for small items for a variety of products, up to medium sized items of furniture. The studio has a stock of props and furniture, check this link to see what is available.
There are many different surfaces and backdrops to choose from, including a 2.7m wide paper roll system. This can be used as a background only, or as a complete 'sweep' for cutouts and packshot photography, where a single colour 'all-around' the product is required.
The building, originally a Coaching House from the late 18th Century, has a number of features including period windows and a cast iron fireplace. If you're ever in the area please feel free to pop in, the kettle is usually on as I am a tea lover! The space enables me to produce high quality imagery in an efficient manner with the added benefit of being able to use the room as a lifestyle studio in itself. It has had a new floor fitted, and the walls have been painted in a soft subtle grey. Before clients work is ready to be shot, it is stored securely alongside surfaces, and larger props and furniture, in the adjoining storeroom.
