"The service provided was professional, quick and helpful. Richard instantly understood the style I was after and was able to tie in my brand colours of green and white through clever use of styling and props. I couldn't be happier with the end results, the quality of the images has helped me gain business with high end wedding venues." Michelle Thexton Wedding Stationery Design

Stationery, whether handmade or commercially printed is something we love to photograph. We love to see both typography and calligraphy it's something we relish receiving in the studio. Whether it's wedding stationery or other forms of stationery that perhaps commemorate or invite to different events we can photograph and style these for you.

There's various ways in which we photograph stationery, and prints. Flat-lays have been the go-to style for this sort of work for a little while. These are overhead shots which have a particular look, perhaps featuring some of the tools of the trade, and then various elements of the work in there too. For suites of stationery, we tend to 'layer-up' your work focussing upon the most important details of the stationery wherever possible. These can be styled to be very neat, with rectangular edges, with the various parts, such as the wedding invitation, and the save the date card set to a right angle and in straight lines. Or they can be more free flowing with a more natural 'scattered' appearance.

We have a number of vintage stationery props that can be used alongside your products, as well as a selection of plants, from small succulents, aloe vera, cacti to larger palms, bamboo and yukka plants. Clients often send across fresh flowers to be used, which can be obtained easily from online suppliers such as Bloom and Wild (use code Bloom10 or Flower10 for a 10% discount).

Like when we work with greeting cards, we can pick upon texture, or special finishes as required. Which is very important when paper and card stock selection is such an important factor in designing stationery. For prints, we do have a number of frames that can be used in-house to frame your work prior to the shoot.

We work with Seedlings Cards & Gifts, Hannah Marchant, and Shells Bells Wedding Stationery.
